BRICAPON 2K-PUR Zapon Varnish

BRICAPON is an air-drying, transparent and water-light 2-component metal preservative paint based on acrylic polyurethane (DD). BRICAPON meets the highest demands in terms of chemical and mechanical resistance. BRICAPON permanently protects non-ferrous metals against oxidation, corrosion and discoloration and has excellent adhesion, weather resistance and non-yellowing properties.

Field of application

As a protective coating against oxidation of non-ferrous metals such as copper, brass, chrome, aluminum, tin, zinc, etc. Also on ferrous metals in interior areas with sufficient film thickness.
Due to the low solids content, it is not advisable to use it outdoors as the sole colorless anti-corrosion coating.
As a protective coating on mineral substrates such as stone, concrete, etc.
As an additional protective coating on painted surfaces.

Delivery form
Art. 436. comp.A 900g, 4,5kg. Art. 967 Comp.B Hardener 100g, 500, 900g. Both components are different articles and must be ordered separately.

Mixing ratio
9.5 parts by weight of component A stock solution, 0.5 part by weight of color concentrate and 1 part by weight of component B hardener. 9 parts by weight component A and 1 part by weight component B (9 : 1).

Gloss level
Gloss, silk gloss or silk matt.

Color shade
Transparent, water light.
