As a residential paint for new buildings as well as in the renovation sector - especially for buildings and structures which should be used according to certain standards (e.g. Minergie ECO) as well as according to the specifications of the Swiss Environmental Label (Swiss Paint Foundation). ELOSAN is suitable for all mineral substrates such as cement, lime or plastic plasters, masonry, exposed concrete, gypsum, cement fiber boards as well as on old dispersion and mineral paints. However, it is not suitable for on old glue paints or alkyd resin paints. ELOSAN is a water-thinnable, cloth-matt, non-film-forming organo-silicate mineral paint for universal interior use. Due to the binder combination of silica sol and water glass, ELOSAN silicifies with the substrate to form a chemical bond and results in optimum moisture balance, thanks to its high water vapor permeability. ELOSAN coatings dry without a buildup, remain breathable, are low-stress and non-yellowing. The advantages such as high covering power, high coverage and odorless, drip- and batch-free (thixotropic setting) application make ELOSAN a popular and economical solution. Thanks to the product-specific alkalinity, a mold-inhibiting effect is achieved, and the emission- and preservation-free formulation results in coatings that are also suitable for allergy sufferers. With over 95 % inorganic raw materials, ELOSAN meets the requirements of the Swiss Paint Foundation with the environmentally friendly classification A-.
