DUROSIL Deep Penetrating Primer

As a water-repellent (hydrophobic) impregnating primer for absorbent and mineral substrates. As a transparent and water-light surface fixative for easily felting, crumbling or sanding surfaces on a wide variety of fibrous materials such as textiles, carpets, wood pulp, etc. DUROSIL is a water-thinnable, transparent and siliconized deep primer with solidifying and water-repellent effect. DUROSIL levels unevenly absorbent substrates, increases adhesion and prolongs the durability of a subsequent coat of DUROSIL Silicone Resin Paint. DUROSIL binds chalking old coatings, protects against efflorescence as well as algae growth and prevents moisture penetration without reducing water vapor permeability.
