Compatible with all water-based adhesives. For highly, weakly and irregularly absorbent substrates such as white or smooth plaster, gypsum plasterboard, concrete or gypsum board walls, which are subsequently wallpapered. Not suitable for "closed" substrates (see restrictions). For problematic substrates. Blancol Wallpapering Primer is a transparent wallpapering primer based on synthetic resins, which is used instead of a deep primer for wallpaper substrates. Solidifies the substrate to be wallpapered, prevents its crumbling and regulates its absorbency. Strengthens the adhesion of wallpaper and helps prevent wallpaper peeling. Does not attack solvent-sensitive styrofoam insulation.
Application:
For highly absorbent, sandy substrates, dilute 50%. To strengthen the adhesive strength, a 2nd treatment with 40 % diluted wallpaper primer may be recommended as the best solution. For normally absorbent substrates, use 20 - 40 % diluted. The wallpaper primer can be applied with a brush or roller or sprayed. Suitable for all water-based wallpaper adhesives. Drying time: Undiluted very short, approx. 60 minutes depending on room temperature. When diluted with water up to 12 hours. Dilution: Can be diluted with water, but delays the drying time.
Consumption:
Approx. 10 liters for 100 m², or 1 dl per m².
Cleaning of equipment/clothes:
Wash out with water after use or soiling.
