DUROCID-THERM is suitable wherever thermal insulation is to be achieved such as on walls, ceilings, tanks, pipes, etc. made of concrete, metal, wood, etc. in the sectors of construction and industry (for example, trapezoidal sheets for halls, containers, underground garages, tunnels, turbines, roofing of carports, etc.). DUROCID-THERM is a diffusion-open and heat-insulating coating system with corrosion-inhibiting effect (passive rust protection) based on aqueous polymers. Due to the reinforced microporous structure of DUROCID-THERM, effective condensation absorption and release is achieved. Any condensation is absorbed by the surface structure, distributed and released back into the room air. The surfaces remain dry and protect against dripping condensation and consequential damage such as mold growth, hygiene problems, corrosion, ice formation, etc. DUROCID-THERM is emission-free, non-flammable and toxicologically harmless in the event of a fire (EU standard ISO 5659).
